Safe and Simple AC PWM Dimmer for Arduino Raspberry Pi
/7/2011I know a logic-level MOSFET is best to interface this LED array to one of the Arduino PWM pins. My question: how to shop for a MOSFET that best fits the electrical parameters of both the Arduino's PWM output, yet properly drive the LED array?

You can use any power NPN or N-Channel MOSFET, make sure the transistor is rated to be able to pass as much current as you need. then run power and ground wires back to the Arduino.
